Bacillus tipchiralis
This species name was not published at the time of submission of GenBank entry AF039408. The submittors included the comment: "Bacillus tipchiralis is a group I Bacilli, whose members include B. cereus, B. circulens, B. alvei, etc. Its species name was given by us, and is based upon the type of movement it makes and the shape it generates when growing as a multicellular population on semi-solid surfaces. This strain has a natural resistance to many antibiotics."
