More...In this study we sequenced, assembled, annotated, and performed a brief comparative analysis of the genomes of fifteen Bacilli isolated from commercial products. Our goal was to establish these sequenced strains in culture as part of our ongoing efforts to study the influence of Bacilli on the fruit fly Drosophila melanogaster. More broadly, this work provides genomic resources for strains isolated from commercially available probiotic formulations.
