We isolated bacteria resistant to nitrite stress from human feces and performed whole-genome sequencing to identify them as Lactiplantibacillus plantarum LP7 (LP7). To identify the gene related to nitrite stress in LP7, we performed RNA-seq of LP7 with L. plantarum ATCC14917 (ATCC14917) as a reference strain. Transcriptome profiles were obtained using illumina NovaSeq. RNA samples were prepared in biologically independent duplicates with/without nitrite in LP7 and in ATCC14917. Less...
