project nameWe carried out an intervention study on six obesity patients using a traditional PFE for 4 weeks. Significant weight losses were observed on all subjects after intervention. Fecal microbial metagenomic sequencing and metabolomics profiling were performed before and after the intervention, by which we identified several coordinated changes on the gut microbial community and metabolites probably responsible for the cause of weight loss
