show Abstracthide AbstractThe genome of six undescribed bacteria isolated from clinical specimen was sequenced. Phylogenetic analysis using the coding genes atpD, rpoB, infB and gyrB indicates that these organism are part of a novel genus within the Yersiniaciae family. Within this genus, for which we propose the name Enterochimera, we could identify three individual species: E. arupensis, E. coloradensis, E. californica. The polyphasic characterization of these novel taxa is in the process of being submitted to the International Journal of Systematic and Evolutionary Microbiology.
