Design: Genomic DNA was extracted from overnight LB broth cultures at 37C using the E-Z 96 Tissue DNA Kit (Omega Bio-tek, Norcross GA, USA). Around 500 ng of genomic DNA was mechanically fragmented during 40 seconds by Covaris M220 (Covaris, Woburn MA, USA) using the default settings. Libraries were synthesized using NEBNext Ultra II DNA library prep kit for Illumina (New England Biolabs, Ipswich MA, USA) according to manufacturers instructions and were sequenced by Illumina MiSeq 300 bp paired-end run at the Genomic Analysis Platform of the Institut de Biologie Integrative et des Systemes (Laval University, Quebec, Canada).
