This study investigated the transcriptome of Lactiplantibacillus plantarum during growth in MRS with mannitol as the sole carbon source (mannitol-MRS), supplemented with DHNA and/or ferric iron to stimulate extracellular electron transfer. L. plantarum transcriptome profiles during growth in mannitol-MRS with no DHNA or iron supplementation are provided as a reference condition.
