Design: The whole genome sequencing was performed using Illumina NovaSeq PE150. Raw data was filtered to obtain Clean Data used three different softwares: SOAP denovo, SPAdes and Abyss software. Afterwards, the results from the different softwares were integrated using CISA software.

Lactiplantibacillus plantarum Mut-3 (FNCC 0246) was isolated from tempeh, a fermented soybean food product. The strain has the ability to survive in gastrointestinal tract and hydrolyze bile salts. Another potential functional trait such as gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) gene was identified in their genome.
