Bronchiectasis patients with chronic Pseudomonas aeruginosa infections were selected to form part of a clinical trial for ciprofloxacin (ORBIT3). Samples were taken from baseline and from subsequent samples and multiple isolates per sample isolated, DNA extracted and sequenced on Illumina platform with NEB Ultra II libraries.
