SRX8944637: Draft genome Lactobacillus rhamnosus OSU-PECh-69
1 ILLUMINA (Illumina NovaSeq 6000) run: 40.3M spots, 12.2G bases, 3.6Gb downloads

Design: Library construction was prepared by random fragmentation of the gDNA followed by 5and 3adapter ligation (TruSeq DNA PCR-Free 350; Illumina, USA). In additional, tagmentation was performed in a single step to increase the efficiency of the library preparation process. To verify the size of adapter-ligated fragments a PCR was performed (TapeStation 2200; Agilent, USA). For cluster generation, the library was loaded into a flow cell where fragments are captured on a lawn of surface-bound oligos complementary to the library adapters. Each fragment was amplified in clonal clusters through bridge amplification. Illumina SBS technology NovaSeq6000 S4 system (Illumina, USA) was used to perform the sequencing

Study: Lactobacillus rhamnosus strain:OSU-PECh-69 Genome sequencing and assembly
show Abstracthide Abstract
The strain was isolated from cheese and show strong antibacterial activity against Gram-positive and Gram-negative microorganisms. The aim is to find the gene cluster responsable to produce the antibacterial activity
Sample: Model organism or animal sample from Lactobacillus rhamnosus OSU-PECh-69
